Dr Diamond, DO received her B.A. in contemplative education and environmental studies at Naropa University. She then completed her premedical training at University of Colorado, Boulder. She earned her medical degree at Rocky Vista University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. This was followed by a traditional rotating internship and residency training at the University of Colorado, Rose Medical Center Family Medicine in Denver CO. Dr. Diamond is a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician with extensive training in Herbal Medicine, Ayurveda, massage and yoga.

Areas Of Expertise

Dr. Diamond’s passion for holistic medicine began with her love of nature and the study of the medicinal components of the plants of the Rocky Mountains. She formalized her study in clinical herbalism at the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies and later served as faculty, specializing in herbal pharmacy and medicine making. She studied Ayurveda at the Alandi School of Ayurveda and also served on their faculty. Her love of plant medicine brought her to Belize, Central America to study with Dr. Rosita Arvigo and traditional Maya healers. For many years, she organized learning journeys to Belize to learn these traditional Maya ways and rainforest medicinal plants.

Dr. Diamond’s vast experience in alternative medicine was the catalyst for becoming an Osteopathic Physician. She also specializes in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, recognizing that the structure of the body is vital to optimal functioning. Her guiding principle is to blend the best of Western Osteopathic medicine with natural medicines. She practices medicine in an educational way, teaching and inspiring her patients to set goals and find the most effective, least invasive approach to healing. 

With over twenty-five years in the healing arts, Mira Devi brings a skill set based upon a lifelong commitment to personal growth. She dove into the study of Yoga and Ayurveda during a ten year period spent at Shoshoni Yoga Retreat, an ashram near Boulder, Colorado. There she spent many days in the kitchen preparing Ayurvedic meals, as well as in the Ayurvedic Spa offering traditional health therapies. During her time at Shoshoni, Mira became a certified yoga instructor at the 500 hour level, spa manager/lead spa therapist, meditation teacher, lifestyle coach, and staff manager. She taught Ayurvedic treatment protocols to spa therapists, and created and taught an Ayurvedic module for Shoshoni’s Yoga Teacher Training. A lifelong musician, Mira flourished as a Kirtan (sacred chant) leader, recording several albums with the ashram band ‘Shiva’s Garden’.

A licensed massage therapist, Mira has completed trainings in Advanced Ayurvedic Hands-On Therapies, Marma Chikitsa, Herbology, and Ayurvedic Cooking with Dr. Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM. She is certified as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Counselor through both the Vedic Institute and the Austin based NAYA, and delights in supporting clients through sharing accessible lifestyle guidelines rooted in Yogic and Ayurvedic principles. Some of these include dosha balancing dietary protocols, meditation and chanting practices to reduce stress, and Yoga Nidra. For the past ten years she has worked closely with Dr. Nita Desai, supporting countless individuals through the powerful Ayurvedic cleanse known as Pancha Karma.

Mira is passionate about educating people about Lymphatic System wellness. She is trained in Manual Lymph Drainage and Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy, and finds working with the lymphatic system to be both personally rewarding and extremely supportive to her clients.

Lesley has been in private practice for over 36 years, specializing in Chronic Pain, Women’s Health, and Pelvic Muscle Dysfunction. She is an expert in behavioral medicine with a focus on perineometry, a biofeedback treatment of disorders of pelvic musculature and sexual dysfunction. Lesley is also a master therapist in Myofascial Release (MFR) and combined with her expertise, she developed a unique medical treatment known as Pelvicology for the treatment of pelvic conditions.

She developed a Certification Program in 1985 for the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction (ongoing web-based).

Because we are a small business, Betsy does many things from cleaning out the refrigerator, to wiping down the salt room, to creating TV visuals and brochures, to making signs to tell people where to go, to helping Dr. Diamond in her practice and supporting David on the business side of things. In all of her duties, her genuine passion and where she puts a lot of attention is to make sure each person, who walks through our door, is treated and cared for with warmth, patience, attention and clear and excellent communication. Call her our Customer/Patient Care Manager or call her the Office Manager with her somewhat obsessive organization skills, she does not care about title. Betsy cares about people and how they are treated, communicated with and helped to find what they are looking for, for the greatest healing of body, mind, heart and spirit.
